I hugged the ferret and started sleeping as it was already midnight. I had been studying for my finals and was exhausted. The ferret, who I had named «Midnight», was a soft and cuddly creature that always made me feel better. I do not know why I was so attached to this animal, but I could not help but feel guilty when I had to let it go.
